The Church of San Bartolome is to be restored, it will take approximately eighteen months and will cost an estimated 2.4 million euros. The sum of 1.4 millions euros will be paid by the Spanish bank Caja Madrid.
 It is an investment to preserve one of Javea’s most historical and well known buildings. The Restoration includes an additional attraction, with a new museum as part of the church, displaying its past and its present history.
