 The European Community is threatening some European countries, including Spain, for not recognising diplomas in areas like architecture, if the diploma was taken in another European country.
The commision which handles these areas demands that Spain recognises such diplomas and value them on the same level as Spanish diplomas/titles. This recognition is important and should be equal throughout Europe as it is one of the conditions for free worker flows within Europe.
