 Jávea supermarkets see an increase in olive oil prices. The production this last year has been extremely low, causing the price to go up.
This is resulting in families using less oil to prepare the meals and reports around Spain show that criminals are also focusing to obtain the oil, highjacking trucks carrying thousands of litres worth lots of money on the black market.
