Javea´s nightlife could be described as “the right location for the perfect time” as the sea and the boulevard at the Arenal area form a relaxed, safe and enjoyable environment. Featuring a variety of music bars, restaurants and even a couple of small clubs, Javea offers all the right combinations to enjoy every night of the week.

The seasons of the year have a direct result on Javea´s nightlife. In the winter the local people enjoy the calm evenings in their favorite bars while in summer all the places open their doors to welcome those from other countries. The majority of bars have english speaking personnal, so if you only speak a few words of Spanish, you can always give it a shot saying what you want in English!

During the summer most of the people first enjoy their meal in one of the many restaurants in Javea. Afterwards most move towards the Arenal boulevard where local people sell hand-made products, souvenirs and other articles, so if you are looking for a nice reminder or the gift for home, this is a good place to find something.

After dinner and after the first drinks of the night, you may want to explore the places and experience the variety of musical interest. Whether you like jazz or mordern house music, Javea offers you a wide choice. Only some discotheques will charge you an entrance fee, but most places remain free of charge, in general the prices for drinks are the same everywhere, though in Clubs and Discos the prices are much higher. The opening hours vary, but in general in winter bars close at around 2 o’clock where in summer this varies between 3 and 6 o’clock.

For those who enjoy living throughout the night there are several discotheques around the Javea area, where local dj´s play the latest music, and where people enjoy the rest of the night in a safe and exotic environment.

Entrance fees vary between 10 and 15 euros per person and it is reminded that the discotheques start to get full around 3 o’clock in the morning, and remain open till about 8 o’clock.
